Why Hapkido?
Hapkido is a traditional Korean martial art that emphasizes self-defence. It shares several similarities with Taekwondo, another Korean martial art: both practice kicking, punching, and sparring. However, unique from Taekwondo, Hapkido also teaches practical self-defence and tumbling elements. This makes Hapkido one of the most dynamic and comprehensive martial arts, as it offers a greater variety of techniques. We have shared a preview one of the unique techniques called “obstacle falling”, where one safely rolls onto the ground after jumping over an obstacle.
